Yesterday was the 115th anniversary of the first powered flight. I flew 25 tons of Christmas presents from Leipzig, Germany to Barcelona, Spain (a distance of a little under 1000 miles) in just over 2 hours. An impromptu day stop at East Midlands airport allows Gareth to visit Ladybower Reservoir. The last time he was here, it was in a Tornado GR4, at 250 feet and 500 knots. This time the aircraft is much smaller and slower, but the photos are of a better quality!
