Bird's Eye Solutions Image Showcased In Drone Magazine
The majority of income from UAV work comes from individual contracts, but stock photography and cinematography continues in the background as a way to generate money in the times when that work is difficult to come by.
The process of generating stock footage is a relatively straight forward one. All you need is to have the equipment handy and to keep your eyes open. Some of the stock photography websites even go as far as to tell you what is trending and what agencies are currently looking for.
Personally, I visit as many local sites as possible, on days where I have free time and process the images when away from home with my airline job.
By using the time otherwise wasted to gather stock footage, I build up a sizeable and varied stock library whilst continually improving my flying skills.
